Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cascella, of Forest Hill, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Cascella, to Christopher Daniel Bowen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bowen, of Glenwood.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Fallston High School and a 2005 graduate of Towson University, where she received a bachelor's degree in physical education. She is currently pursuing a master's degree and is a teacher in the Harford County Public School System.

The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Glenelg High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maryland, where he received a bachelor's degree in journalism. He is presently employed as an account manager at Aerotek Inc., in Hanover.

A summer 2009 wedding is planned.
