Valerie J. Zinchiak and Andrew J. White

Thomas Zinchiak, of Woodbine, announces the marriage of his daughter Valerie Jan Zinchiak, to Andrew Jonathan White, son of Judy and Robert White, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Aug. 2, 2008. The bride's mother is the late Lynn W. Zinchiak. The Rev. Edward Kelaher officiated.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Salisbury University, where she received a bachelor's degree in education. She received her master's degree in education from McDaniel College this year. She is a third grade teacher at Triadelphia Ridge Elementary School.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in business administration from The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina, in 2000. He is a sales representative for Rehrig Pacific Company.

The ceremony was held at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Myrtle Beach. A reception followed at the Myrtle Beach Greek Orthodox Hall. Robert White, father of the groom, and Jared Tyler, friend of the groom, shared the responsibilities of best man.

The couple resides in Annapolis.
