5K Fun Run and 1M Walk this Saturday

Highland resident Carol Hill sent me an e-mail describing a mission trip that she’ll be going on in 2009 to Mississippi. Her church group, the Mt. Zion UMC Mission Mississippi Team, are sponsoring a 5K run/1M walk at Meadowbrook Park in Ellicott City Saturday, Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. The event will benefit the group when they go down in 2009 to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.
