The award recognizes the participation in the Realtor Association and committees at the local and state level, civic activity and community service, education and business conduct.
Poquette has served on the Howard County executive's transition teams for housing and planning and zoning in 2006, was appointed by County Executive Kenneth Ulman to the Spending and Affordability Advisory Committee for fiscal year 2008 and is the current chairwoman of the Howard County Association of Realtors Legislative Committee.
The Center for Substance Abuse Research began a statewide expansion of resources on the Maryland Community Services Locator Web site (www.mdcsl.org) in July. The MDCSL is an interactive online directory developed to assist professionals and community members in locating community services.
