The following is compiled from police reports. The View from Ellicott City includes descriptions of perpetrators only when the description makes identification possible.

High Castle Road, 8000 block, between Sept. 29 and 8 a.m. Oct. 6. House under construction entered through unlocked front door. Gas stove was stolen.

Bonnie Branch Road, 5000 block, between 9 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Oct. 6. Resident arrived home and discovered his laptop computer, assorted electronic devices and jewelry were missing. Resident had left his bathroom windows open.

Waterloo Road, 4900 block, 1:35 a.m. Oct. 5. Attempt made to gain entry to Watermont Pharmacy by breaking the front door glass.

Baltimore National Pike, 8500 block, 3:05 a.m. Oct. 3. Police responded to a business alarm at Race Pace Bicycles and discovered front door glass broken and a bicycle stolen. Man located on another stolen bike was arrested and the bike stolen from Race Pace was found in nearby bushes.

Dorsey Hall Drive, 4700 block, 12:17 a.m. Oct. 2. Police responded to You Salon Inc. for a business alarm and found the front glass door broken. A cash register containing cash was stolen.

Old Annapolis Road, 9800 block, between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 30. Residence entered through open door. Prescription drugs stolen.
