For the past seven years, I've been the education reporter for The View newspapers. On occasion, I've written non-related school feature articles about people in the community and a news story or two. Mostly though I have covered education.

I'm glad to have been a part of a publication that has been so well received by the community.

Now though it's time for me to move on. My last day is Oct. 3.

I'd like to thank all of the people who have contributed to the education section by sharing their stories, comments, event notices and pictures with the readers of The View. Keep those cards and letters coming.

The education section can't survive without the support from the community.
