Chris Loeffler, of Columbia, has graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science.

Shanay Mayo, of Columbia, has graduated from the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.

Patrice Wood, of Columbia, will graduate from the University of Phoenix-Maryland in Baltimore on May 17. The second grade teacher, who works for the Prince George's County Public School System, earned a master's degree in education and is currently enrolled in the university's doctoral program.

Isha Agarwal, of Columbia, daughter of Nishkam and Koki Agarwal and a junior at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest academic honor society. Agarwal, a River Hill High School alumna, is one of the elite "Junior 24," a select group of Harvard students named to the society in their junior year based on outstanding academic achievement. Agarwal is studying chemistry and economics, and is a member of the Global Initiative for Women's Empowerment and the Harvard Equestrian Team in Dressage.

Craig Sauers, of Columbia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sauers and a junior at Washington and Lee University, in Lexington, Va., has been named to the dean's list for the winter semester.
