In addition to Howard County's July Fourth celebration at Lake Kittamaqundi in Columbia, other neighboring towns also plan to hold Independence Day celebrations with parades and fireworks displays.

River Hill parade

July 4, 9:30 a.m.

The parade route travels along Great Star Drive from Guilford Road to Signal Bell Lane.

Longfellow parade

July 4, 10 a.m.

The parade route begins on Hesperus Drive and ends at Eliots Oak Road.

Allview parade

July 4, noon

The parade route starts at Atholton Park and travels along Westleigh and Greenleigh drives before returning to the park.

Baltimore County

Catonsville parade

July 4, 3 p.m.

The parade route travels down Frederick Road from Montrose Avenue to Bloomsbury Avenue.

Fireworks

July 4, 9:15 p.m.
