Hillfall Court, 5500 block, 11:29 a.m. Aug. 4. Screen on back door to residence cut. No entry made.
Flowerstock Row and Tamar Drive, 10:19 p.m. Aug. 4. Four males and a female lured a male into the entrance of a building, assaulted him and stole cash.
Amherst Avenue, 6400 block, between 12 p.m. Aug. 2 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 3. Christ Memorial Presbyterian Church entered by unknown means. Nothing stolen. Two sheds next to the church covered in graffiti. A juvenile and a 19-year-old Laurel man were arrested.
Cradlerock Way and Talisman Lane, 12:56 a.m. Aug. 4. Male stopped to make a phone call when three males wearing masks that covered their mouths and noses approached him. One of the masked males pulled a handgun and demanded that he give them "everything." The masked males stole wallet, cell phone and cash before fleeing on foot.
Alderleaf Place, 5800 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 1. Male was robbed of gym bag full of clothes at gunpoint. Two men arrested.
Broken Staff, 7500 block, between 12:01 a.m. July 31 and 1:33 a.m. Aug. 1. A dirt bike was stolen. No further information.
Majors Lane, 6000 block, between 6:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. July 31. Residence entered, no sign of forced entry. Laptop computer, video game system, video games, iPod and two flat-screen TVs stolen.
Farewell Road, 9300 block, between 7:10 a.m. July 30 and 6:30 a.m. July 31. Residence entered by breaking out glass. Cash stolen.
Cradlerock Way, 7200 block, 8:39 p.m. July 30. A 60-year-old woman was seated at the Owen Brown Village Center with her purse next to her. Three males walked by and grabbed her purse and fled on foot. Purse contained a wallet, cash, glasses and a hairbrush.
Kilimanjaro Road, 9400 block, 6:45 p.m. July 28. A 20-year-old man was walking on a footpath behind Oakland Mills High School when he was assaulted by three males in their late teens who took his cigarettes and cell phone.
West Columbia
Green Dory Lane, 5500 block, 9:23 a.m. Aug. 4. Green Ford Ranger stolen.
Turnabout Lane, 5900 block, 1:45 a.m. Aug. 3. A man was walking home when he realized that six to eight males were following him. When he got in the vicinity of the Crown gas station, he was struck from behind and knocked out. When he regained consciousness, he realized his cell phone and cash were missing.
Little Patuxent Parkway, 11600 block, 12:05 a.m. Aug. 1. A male was walking to his apartment building when he was approached by two males. One of the males pointed a gun at him and demanded money. Cell phone and wallet containing money and credit cards were stolen.
Harpers Farm Road, 5600 block, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. July 30. Apartment entered. Flat-screen TVs, video game consoles and a laptop computer were stolen. Point of entry and exit appears to be a rear door.
Little Patuxent Parkway, 11400 block, 11:38 p.m. July 31. Male was standing in parking lot when he was approached by a male who ran out of a wooded area and pointed a gun at him, demanding money. Male in the parking lot did not have money so the male with a gun stole his cell phone and fled.
Pear Tree Way, 11200 block, 9:26 p.m. July 30. A male was in parking lot when when he was approached by three males, one of whom pushed him down and demanded his money. The male fled, but dropped his cell phone, which is still missing.
