Hourglass Place, 9200 block, between Aug. 16 and 8 p.m. Aug. 17. Owner returned home to find a sliding door off track. Laptop computer and jewelry stolen.

Summer Rambo Court, 6700 block, between 2:30 and 6 p.m. Aug. 17. Yamaha dirt bike stolen from open garage.

Hayledge Court, 5200 block, 3:06 a.m. Aug. 17. Man arrested after breaking into a residence. No further information.

Dobbin Road, 6400 block, 10:27 a.m. Aug. 13. White Mazda Protege was stolen.

Talisman Lane, 7100 block, 12:03 a.m. Aug. 14. A juvenile male was approached by two males in their late teens on a footpath. One of the teenage males pulled a gun and demanded credit cards. Cell phone and wallet were stolen. Teenage males fled on foot.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10300 block, 7:40 p.m. Aug. 18. Two people were assaulted by four males at the Columbia mall. No further information.

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10800 block, 3:27 a.m. Aug. 18. Cash stolen from Terry Tag and Title after entry was gained by breaking a window.

Minstrel Way, 7100 block, 1 p.m. Aug. 17. Female was walking to her vehicle when she felt a tug on her purse. Male was unable to pull the purse from her shoulder and fled the area.

Brook Way, 5200 block, 9:26 p.m. Aug. 14. A residence was entered through a basement window. No further information.

Tarkington Way, 5300 block, between Dec. 31, 2007 and 9:54 a.m. Aug. 13. A residence was broken into because of a domestic issue. No further information.

Peartree Way, 11200 block, 3:35 p.m. Aug. 12. Residence entered and ransacked. No further information.
