Oakland Mills Road, 7000 block, between 6 p.m. Aug. 22 and 7:15 a.m. Aug. 25. Computers stolen from Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks. No sign of forced entry.

Clocktower Lane, 9500 block, between 6 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Aug. 23. Laptop computer, credit cards and knives stolen from residence after entry was gained by cutting the screen to an open, rear basement window.

Dockside Lane, 7200 block, 8:11 a.m. Aug. 24. A maroon 2003 Chevrolet Impala was stolen.

Berger Road, 9200 block, 9:09 p.m. Aug. 23. A 1993 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

Painted Rock Road, 8300 block, 6:45 p.m. Aug. 23. Side window to residence kicked in. No entry gained.

Stevens Forest Road, 5700 block, 8:48 a.m. Aug. 22. A black 1993 Honda Prelude was stolen.

Windbell Way, 9500 block, 8:20 p.m. Aug. 22. Delivery person confronted by three males, one armed with a knife, who stole the delivery person's cash.

Stevens Forest Road and Broken Land Parkway, 3 a.m. Aug. 22. A male and a female were assaulted by two people, who then stole the male and female's vehicle and crashed it a few blocks away.

Dobbin Road, 6500 block, 2:41 p.m. Aug. 22. Manager of Blockbuster Video noticed three males loading dozens of DVDs into plastic bags. He was punched by one male as he tried to block their escape. The bags of DVDs were found outside the store.

Kerry Hill Court, 7300 block, between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21. Purse containing cash and a driver's license was stolen from residence after entry was gained through a rear sliding door.

Oakland Mills Road, 6900 block, 4:31 p.m. Aug. 19. A green 1995 Ford Taurus SW was stolen.

Reader Lane, 9300 block, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 19. A video game system and games were stolen after entry gained to home through an unlocked door.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10300 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 25. Male was at Columbia mall when he was approached by his roommate who assaulted him and took cash from his pockets. Arrest warrant issued.

Cedar Lane, 5600 block, 8:48 p.m. Aug. 25. Male was leaving Swansfield basketball court when he was approached by four to five males, one of whom pointed a gun at him and stole his bookbag, which contained a wallet and cash.
