Synchronized swimming
Try synchronized swimming Sept. 28 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Fairlands Aquatics Center. Cost: $10 (includes a nose clip). Meet in the deep end at 4:15 p.m.
Beginning synchronized swimming will be offered Wednesdays (6:30-7:30 p.m.) and Sundays (4:30-5:30) during October. The first class is Oct. 1. Cost. $75. Boys and girls ages 7-19 are welcome. Interested swimmers must be able to swim two lengths of the pool and feel comfortable in the deep end of the pool.

The Howard County Tennis Association's fall outdoor tennis program will be held Oct. 4-Nov. 1 for ages 12 and younger at the beginner and intermediate skill levels.
